earcon ADF (Application Development Framework) is a Zope product to allow an easier development of web-based business applications
Typically, Zope is used as a Content Management System. There is a lot of good products in this way: CFM, Plone, CPS, Silva, etc. But there wasn't a framework to convert Zope in a good system for web-based business applications development. We have filled this hole providing earcon ADF.
Earcon ADF is the result of the migration of our main product KMKEY to the Zope platform. We have created a good framework with advanced features to make the KMKey development, and released this framwork to the community. You can download the framework under GPL license, or buy a commercial license if you want to use it for propietary developments.
Using earcon ADF you will be able to develoop impressive web-based applications, with contextual menus, tree views, client-side database validations (using xml-rpc) and PDF generations (using OpenOffice). You also will have a set of object types provided by default, like persons, folders, files, bookmarks, calendars, users, etc, which you can reuse in your applications with little effort.
